I have quit smoking!!!

Don't know if this is the right place to post this topic or not?
I quit smoking on Saturday, at 1.30pm, and I am feeling really positive about it, I am going "cold turkey" which is meant to be the most tried, but failed method and only a very small % of people manage to quit and stay quit, I am stubborn, determined, love a challenge and want to be in the small % of people I actually thought I'd find it much, much harder, but I am in the "zone" and frame of mind not to relapse. My OH is also quitting with me so thats a great help, we have got rid of lighters, matches, astrays, which is something we've not done before, so things are looking very positive and I can already feel the benefits to my health, my hearts not pounding, I am not out of breath when I walk up the stairs (I am just 26 and thats not good)
Anyone else who's managed to quit the dreaded ciggies?

I think I've quit. It's been since Halloween since I had my last smoke.

Well I have to say you are doing a great job cuz I have tried quiting smokeing befor and could not do it. It is really hard once you start it is hrad to stop and maybe oneday I will stop smoking for good. But congrats for you on stoping and I will keep faith in you.

it was more of breaking a habit for me not just an addiction. change the way you do things and then you will not have the excuse to smoke.

Good luck! I've tried a few times to stop but not managed it, my friend on the other hand decided one day about 2 years ago he wasn't going to have another, and he hasn't. He had tried a few times before and failed and said he eventually stopped because he really REALLY wanted to. Guess that's why failed because as disgusting as it is I enjoy it
