A 30-year-old man from Lancashire, UK was killed when a bizarre suicide attempt failed. Anthony Wright tried to kill himself by tying a rope around his neck and to a telephone pole. As he sped off in his Skoda Fabia, the rope snapped causing him to lose control of his vehicle. Wright died when his car crashed into the holiday home of an elderly couple.

Police said they were checking into the possibility that Wright had been involved in an argument before his death. Police also said they were treating his death as a suicide and not an accident. A makeshift memorial was set-up at the accident scene with bunches of flowers left, one of which said, "To my brother" and another which said, "A great lad who will be sadly missed."

lol how ironic. its sad though that people feel the need to end their lives.

Yea just not the way he wanted it to end. Though his way seems worse then they way he did go. *shudders*

Though it is sad when somebody dies/trys to end their lives, what about those they leave behind? Do they care about them? sometimes it angers me.

If i ever commit suicide i will do it by tying my intestines to a speeding train to see how long it takes to die. what would your ideal suicide be?

i just hope the holiday home and the elderly couple were fine, if he wants to die then so be it but why should others suffer???

Reading a book and listening to Muse cuddled up in blankets as gas fills a room I say.
But it's just sad that some people do end their lives, suicide is a permanent answer to a
temporary problem.

Being forced to listen to Scottish/Irish Bagpipes over and over and over and over and over would be enough incentive for me to stab myself to death with a toothpick.
