A very very sad story.

This is why you NEVER expose yourself electronically. You never know who will get a hold of them.

My heart and prayers got out to that family.

I used to date a guy who was really keen for me to let him take nude photos of me. I thought we were going to get married eventually, but I still said no. In the back of my mind, I thought, what if we split up? What will happen to those photos? We split up in January this year.

I don't feel clever or superior that I made a different decision from this girl. This girl was the victim of someone she trusted. There's no crime in that, but the outcome was just horrendous. I feel desperately sorry for her and her family. She was a beautiful girl with her whole life ahead of her.

Being able to take and transfer these kinds of photos electronically is one of the worst things that the 'age of technology' has ever brought us. Cyber-bullying is real and my only fear is that there is seemingly no way to stop the tide. Is it me or has the schoolyard become crueller because of this technology?

If there are laws that can be put into place to punish people who abuse the technology, I think it would be very positive. I hope there is a positive outcome for this girl's family.

How sad.

I hope something good comes of it and people realize that horrible things can happen. My heart goes out to her family.

your ex is a lucky girl. There are people who say you don't really know anyone until you live with them. In my experience, you don't really know someone 100% until you break up with them...

This was so sad to read, she was so young and pretty. People can turn on you so fast, and it's so ...painful. People can be so cruel, is all I'm trying to say I guess. Poor girl. I wonder what the guy who was her boyfriend has to say now.

Yes, people are cruel, but you sometimes have to wonder why some people commit careless actions and are surprised when they face the consequences.

Because she was in a loving relationship with a guy she trusted. He'd obviously seen her nude already, and it was supposed to be a photo for him to enjoy in private.
Are you suggesting this is all somehow her fault?
