Did your parents tell you about The birds and the Beas (sex)

My mom took me out of town over night when I was 10 for a "girls night" we went shopping, I got my ears peirced, got my first bra and that night she told me about it. I was a shy kid I was kinda embarrased.

My mum waited until i started my periods! before she told me, but i already knew! we had done it at school, plus i think we learned more from the playground!

I don't know how I learned. I think my mom got me some book and was like, "In a few years your body is going to start changing" or something, and at that time I loved reading. She told me I could read about it and if I had any questions I could ask her. Then I learned about it in 5th grade when we started watching "the" video. You know, the puberty videos. Then there was 7th grade health class, and just 7th grade in general

I learned the biology behind it from school, some Mom things, and then some other stuff I won't get into now

My parents just gave me books on it

As far as 8 being too young to talk about the birds & the bees, I would not discard the notion so quickly. We had kids giving each other oral sex on the playground at my preschool & in kindergarten. Yeah, there were some other issues wrapped up in it, but STILL, I would tell them something so they know what you prefer them to do (or not to do!).

nope noone ever told me baout it, but yet again in here and espeicially in schools, its not very common to do so, and the supervision everywhere is just too close in playgrounds and all over the schools even at this age my last year and the principal doesnt let guys and girls walk with eachther for more than 2 min in the playgrounds.. and outside schools, parents actually care alot where u go and with whom.... and i hardly know ppl who even have bfs and gfs...
cuz basically ppl r not in to this issue untill they r married..

My mom told me about sex when I was pretty young. She made sure that I was on birth control by the time I was 16...and told me everything I needed to know and probably more than I needed to know.... She was very open about it.

My step mom talked to me about periods but not sex. When I was 15 my dad didnt really talk to me but told me he kept condoms under the bathroom sink if I ever wanted to take one. I learned a lot from experience but wish someone had told me how much sex connects you to someone and how much drama it can cause at a young age. I would have waited.

no, i learned most of it from my friends and school. my mum knows im sensible so she didn't really need to go into all that i guess but years ago the first time when i was sleeping over and she knew that guys were going to be there she gave me a little talk. nothing much justthe type like "now don't do anything u don't want to do" sort of thing. she wasn't really direct about it....but i did walk in one day when she was giving my brothers a sex talk and i was like "ummm okay...i'll just be going now"

my parents said the stork flew low over the roof and left me and that he also flew to the ground and laid my sister there. My boyfriend told me about sex as it was not a subject you talked about at home in those days.

i found out the easy way... i searched through dad cupboard looking for chrissie prssents then i found a movie with a funny cover and put it in the vcr i got a lil scared (i was like 6) and dad told me all about it lol...proably not a good idea to tell me so younge but it worked lol. he proably shouldent of taught me how to attach to vcrs to a tv to pirate tapes

my parents did, and by the time i got that talk I new all of wat they said anyway, it was totally awkward, and strange
