Game of Thrones

Is anybody else watching this, on Sky Atlantic or HBO?

I think it's fantastic, I only watched it for Sean Bean but then I got really into it. And I've just read that they have renewed it for a second series. Yay.

I've just been to buy the first two books that it is based on. There are 5 out, and 2 more planned to come out.

You can definitely see the Narnia/Lord of the Rings influence, or I can at least. And The Wall/Hadrian's wall reference and the north/south divide and it's all so...English. Even the maps could almost be England and Scotland. I was surprised to find that it was an American author! But he obviously did his homework and good on him because it's really enjoyable - both book and show.

But my absolutely favourite bit of the show...all the people in the north sound so, well Northern. They've obviously got Sean Bean and gone 'They've all got to sound like him!'

I LOVE those books!! have for years. Always been on my favorite list.

I think the TV show is doing a brilliant job of following the books. I really look forward to Sunday nights now

I'm HOOKED. Every spare minute I'm like, I'll just read a couple of pages...then hours go by.

I have to wait for Monday!
But it's better than it used to be.

I really really really really really really really want to watch it, but I don't have HBO.

Well, the adverts for the DVD is already going here, so hopefully it won't be too long til it comes out.

I don't know anyone that has HBO. My best friends don't. Parents don't. My brother does,but he lives like four hours away.



I'll probably rent it one day.

Have not watched it yet, but I understand that there is a lot of doggy style.

I've noticed that on alot of TV shows that do have sex. Is it the easiest to film? Or is everyone doing doggy these days?

Hmm, maybe it's because it's the position of it that makes it so you can't really see anything, I don't know. That's what I think
