I believe that society as a whole is going down the drain....for a few reason's

1) we don't blame ourselves for our own problems

2) people don't believe that being nice is good anymore

3) we are not as independent as compared to 30-50 years ago

4) we are also a paranoid society (as in we believe that everything will be bad 24/7)

5) we don't treat people equally (this reason is the worst)

I agree,but numbers 1 and 5 have always been there.So nothing new really.
