Why does mainstream society treat hosexuality like a persons race?

Maybe this Canadian does not know what its like to be discriminated against because of their skin color or sexual orientation but this Canadian can say they have compassion for such a thing and thinks its awful. Maybe in my neck of the woods it is 98% white but none of the black people I personally know would pull a race card just to see a white persons reaction. Its almost as bad as the discrimination.

im sorry if this post does offend some but i have to get my point across why do people treat homosexuality like race. As a black man i feel greatlty offened by hearing this s***. I understand that homesexulas get discriminated against but what they do in the bed room even having attraction for a male on male or women on women is a choice i feel you have as a human being . But even the melanin in your skin cannot be chosen so for sum reason the two meanings get mixed up
