It is totally understandable.
A few years ago I checked out for about 18 months. In recent years I have been
clinigng to TFS for a variety of reasons... I like it, but am also
fearful that one of these days it is going to be gone... I've kind of felt like it was the "duty" of some of us to hang on...
Over all I am becoming less and less a fan of the Internet. I feel like many of my news sources have so many pop-up ads that it is a pain in the a** to try to read their articles. That coupled with too much
opinion and
speculation is a drag.
Facebook is more and more a place for dumb memes, negativism and advertisements. I twitter is just dumb. Instagram is OK, but photography is what I do as a job (its what our non-profit does) so taking the time to post smart-phone photos is not appealing.
The only Internet site that I like to go to is
iNaturalist and even that is losing its
luster.
Sorry for the verbose response.... point it that "it" is totally understandable.
I
really hate those "slow roll" ads - Like CNN has when you first land on the page, everything slowly rolls down, and then slowly rolls up, and if you're not careful you click on the wrong link or worse, some stupid ad.
Lately, I've been hitting up AP News, BBC, and occasionally RT (taken with a grain of salt)
Fox and USAT look too much like supermarket tabloids .. at least the last time I tripped across them.
