If you're trying to relate that comment to what I said, then no, it's not the same reason. Most people would probably agree that attraction goes beyond physical attributes, but even if it doesn't, beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

my hubby aint the manly man,since he has come into our lives he has taught the boys always to put the toilet seat down,he respects women and has passed it on to the boys,i have had a relationship with a george cloonly look a like but give me a man that respects women and never tries to hold you back from what you want to do but encourages them

And you know "manly" men and men who respect women don't necessarily have to be opposing. The definition of manly is extensive and not limited to physical traits. But for me personally, when it comes down to sheer physical attraction, raw masculinity is very intoxicating and that's not a look, it's an attitude.

Well that's a damn good question. But I'd have to go back to what I was saying, it's often more than physical attributes that draw us to certain people.

and where is your link to this then,my husband hasnt got muscles aint rough and ready,but he is a gentleman who repects women and since his been in our lives has taught that to the boys,hes not a servant and i do parade him round my friends to show how lucky i am,hes completely at home with women and women do go to him cos they know he isnt out to pull,but to enjoy the evening,he has walked many women home,and they feel safe when he is around cos he will protect them if something happens,you dont have to be hard for women to find you attractive but confidence and the feeling they will protect you is far more sexy than a cheesy chat up line

Wimpy is no good... but neither is being a bad boy. I personally go for the "good guy" type... but you can't be a sissy... you need to be able to stick up for your woman. Girls like guys that makes them feel safe and one that can protect them. They aren't usually attracted to wimpy guys cause they don't make them feel protected you could say...
