Why are women more attracted to older men?

Why are women more attracted to older men?

Is it because we are more 'mature' and refined, and (in my case) well travelled and know my way around a good wine?

I think about Sean Connery, Jack Nicholson and of course myself and other such 'older' distinguished sexy men whom women throw themselves at.

But what it is about a dashing mature gent that attracts you?

From a psychological perspective it's supposed to be because older men are more stable. They usually have more resources and are more emotionally mature so they would be more likely to commit and provide stability for any relationship.

I don't understand it myself but that's supposed to be why.

Everyone is different and just because some people like older people it doesn't mean that everyone will. I am quite mature thank you very much, it's just not my thing.
