How many here believe in alternate dimensions as demonstrated through Bizarro world in the old Superman comics or the final episode of Quantum Leap?

Meh...must be the wee hours in the US. Everyone's shut themselves off for the night and stored away in their recharge closets.

For me, this world is enough. Sadly, though, for many in it, the immortal words of the great Bard fall upon deaf ears.....There are more things in heaven and earth, Horatio, Than are dreamt of in your philosophy

Are we "Horatio"?

Hi EB, I had trouble logging in, would not allow me to at some times. Seems OK now.

Assuming the theory stands true, I don't think they are alternate dimensions in the sense that it's either those dimensions or the ones we have now. The other dimensions other than the four we have now, if they exist, exist right now. We just can't detect them.

The TFS server was bugged for a couple of days causing everyone's browsers to redirect.

Yeah, I believe in alternate dimensions, String Theory etc, why not, it makes more sense than creationism, and millions of people believe in that.

Yeah, you get four when you take spacetime into consideration.

I believe in String Theory. Makes a lot of sense if you ask me. Also more beliviable than a lot of the religious stuff. I also believe in Parallel Universes, spent a fair bit of time reading up on that stuff. Just wish I had paid more attention at school so cudda continued with physics .

It would explain how someone could keep picking up and continuing from a 'save' or 'respawn' point after getting killed and no one would realize that they died in the first place.

The various instances they died would break off into alternate dimensional strings where they no longer existed.

I don't know about none of that.

But I do believe that the Gods come from someplace else.

A place we can never see in the flesh. Not even with space cameras.

Yeah, they're standing around us right now ....the whole 'Seeing the sound waves' shebang.

Other dimensions are highly possible. I am open to string theory but alot of what has been put forward so far is hard to grasp for most people.

There seem to be various demonstrations.

I don't mean the 'exiting a virtual simulation' variety but rather like multiple dreamscapes existing parallel to one another, taking the same actors and assigning them different roles and experiences in each of the dream variants.
