Almost all of my teenage life I have gotten sick a lot in the morning. I can't eat breakfast, or even when I force myself to eat I just get sicker. I basically feel naucous, weak, and dizzy, and alls I want to do is lye back down on my bed. Does this happen to others? Or is there something wrong with me? I should also mention that it happens more often in the morning when I'm going through a lot of stress.

Yeah, you could do with a general health check really, blood sugar levels ect. as this shouldn't be happening. It could be down to what you eat during the day maybe you should try changing your diet and see if that helps.

Do you have a bad taste in your mouth in the mornings? Does your throat feel itchy? Check to see if you have errosive esophagitis (sp?), or acid reflux disease.

Also make sure you get enough Iron by food or supplements, you may be suffering from Anemia....

That happens to me a lot. Maybe it could be something causing you not to sleep well. I'd consult a doctor.

It's probably the stress because I realize that when I think about the issue that's been going on in the morning I only get more sick. So yeah..I'll go see a doctor. Thanks for the help everyone.

What is gastroparesis?

Gastroparesis, also called delayed gastric emptying, is a disorder in which the stomach takes too long to empty its contents. It often occurs in people with type 1 diabetes or type 2 diabetes.

Gastroparesis happens when nerves to the stomach are damaged or stop working. The vagus nerve controls the movement of food through the digestive tract. If the vagus nerve is damaged, the muscles of the stomach and intestines do not work normally, and the movement of food is slowed or stopped.

Diabetes can damage the vagus nerve if blood glucose levels remain high over a long period of time. High blood glucose causes chemical changes in nerves and damages the blood vessels that carry oxygen and nutrients to the nerves.

And there you have it, you can look up more info on it if you want. And I have type 1 diabetes.

Meh..sometimes I just like to figure out what I have before I go to the doctor. Even though sometimes we need drugs I'm kind of against taking them, they can really screw u up sometimes, but don't worry I am going to see the doctor.

I took a pathology paper at uni a few years ago and every disease we went over I was convinced I had it. It was such a stressful time.

I still convince myself I have diabetes every six months or so.
