I read the first couple paragraphs, but when he got to the "fear of homo's and colored peoples" it was obvious it's just another boring liberal rant.

You might find it boring, but it's true. That is, in my experience, a core unspoken platform of the current Republican party.

A lot of the stuff he is criticising Republicans for I don't personally see anything wrong with, it's just part of politics.

I think it has to do with that individual person's hypocrisy and not all repubs or conserves. Too many do fit most all of these though IMHO.

Seems to be lumping conservatives and republicans into one thing, and truth be told this is mostly taking a swipe at politicians who unfortunately are naturally dishonest. In a way that letter is basically asking conservatives to abandon everything that sets them apart from liberals.

Only real liberals would accept that as anything but garbage for most part. A lot of it fits both sides, a few would be up held by any one objective as correct criticism of Obama and liberals. Some of it would apply as correct criticism of some republicans or conservatives. But if you rate it as correct and justified for most part on one side it leaves no doubt of your thinking.

How can you possibly make such a claim? I've known Republicans all my life and can honestly tell you I've yet to meet 1 that was racist. The thought that the Republican Party is racist is a Democratic lie (not that there aren't Republican lies about the Democratic Party, mind you). The fact you actually fell for it is shocking to me.

I'm not a Democrat, thank you very much. And I'm not "falling" for anything - I'm speaking from personal experience.

I know you're not a Democrat, that's why I'm so surprised. What personal experience could you possibly have that convinced you it's part of their platform? After all, my personal experience tells me you're dead wrong.

Lots of personal experience with Republicans who are racist. I have seen racist behavior in most of the Republicans I know, actually - and I know a lot of them.

It's not that being a Republican means you're racist or makes you racist. It's that the Republican party attracts the people who are racist. The platform of the modern Republican Party is highly attractive to racists.

Where was this? As I've said, I've never met a racist Republican in my life. Also, what part of the modern Republican Party is highly attractive to racists?

You talking to me? My grandmother died while Reagan was president. She didn't care much for him after he stopped making movies.
