Hey you know what, let this tax cut expire along with all the Bush tax cuts. Then, close all the tax loopholes and special interest breaks that they've implemented over the years for favored groups. Then, charge the same tax rate whether income is earned from working or from capital gains. Then, make a few more income brackets... why should someone making $300k/yr pay the same as someone making $18m?
After you do all that, then lower the tax rates if you want.
