Gosh I wish that dog could've slipped out of his collar and ripped those kids' faces off! Then I'd be smashing their heads in with a stick after tying THEM up!

Cruelty to animals = wrong.

Cruelty to children = right!

Unless a dog attacks a little kid. Then it's vis versa.

But kids are easy targets. They just stand there like "Awwww lookit da cute little doggie!"

Then boom, dog attack.

lol. Cujo's not real

But I'm just saying, dog's wolf instincts are to attack the weak and defenseless. And kids think it's all fun and games. They pull on dog's ears, hit them in the mouth, and play with their food. What would you do if you were "Cujo"?

It has little to do with whether the kid or the dog is at fault. It's whoever is portrayed as the victim of the story. In the op's case the doggie is the victim, so the kid's are evil. In a story about a dog attack on a kid, the kid's the victim and the dog is evil.

Or it would be the kid's parents/dog's owner, but that's not the point.

Not to get into a child disciplinary debate, but I hardly think my way of disciplining my kids is "abuse".

It's not just the fact that they beat a dog to near death, but then the began throwing bricks and rocks at a PERSON who was trying to help the dog!
That is REPULSIVE, sick, and horrific behavior and I would consider turning my kid in and letting him sit in jail.

Some people need their idea of child abuse adjusted.

More likely it was a response to me saying we should shoot them.

I gotta throw this out though. They euthenize a dog who nips a human, yes? But what about the psychos that burn neighborhood puppies alive, or the ones who run a lawnmower over a litter of kittens? What happens to them? A few years in the looney bin. THAT'S ALL! Is that really fair?

Not yelling at you, just gotta throw these things out.

Well, I'm fairly certain that the dog has to bite a person more than once to be put down.

And human children are of our own species; killing them is a bit more personal than killing a dog. Seriously, if you had a kid and a dog, whose death would hurt you more? Of course we are going to be slower to kill a person, especially a child.

This proves to me that parents these days are f***ing idiots who can't raise there kids properly. I mean I come from parents who have disabilities that cause mental problems. Yet I have way more f***ing sense than these kids and than ones who are my age as well.
