@diomedes Said McCains best chance is to get a good diverse VP, if he gets someone like Rudy then he's lost for sure, if he's going against Obama or Hillary his best chance is if he's running on a ticket with someone like Condi Lisa Rice or Collin Powell... especially if he's running against Obama.
Rice has already said that she was headed back to Calif. to teach at UCLA I think. McCain wouldn't ask Powell, because McCain is up to par on foreign affairs.
He is going to need a VP that will help him with the conservative base
