Shadow of the Vampire about the making of the film Nosferatu.

28 days later is great (and it's sequel 28 weeks later which has just come out in the UK).

if u really want to be scare see jeepers creepers too, most scariest movie ever the first time around, so scary,...i almost turn it off..the first movie not the second one..

Scream is good IMO.

Audition is a great j-horror movie (japanese horror) something you should for sure check out. Then there is the host a k-horror (korean) movie that has recently came out and is being pretty well praised so that might also be worth looking into.

the saw movies are good, ghost ship was awesome, house on haunted hill was old, but still good.. i dont know, there are lots of horror movies, to hard to pick a favorite. another good one is taking lives

A really good movie would be "The Raft" from Creepshow Two... the movie was so scary...
