Did anybody see the Discovery Channels "The Lost Tomb of Jesus," a couple of nights ago. If you did what did you think.

I though it was interesting, but full of holes. Was real curious as to what others thought about it.

I agree with elite dragon, i didnt see the documentary but read about it in the newspaper and also think more evidence is needed, it must be hard to prove as there is no DNA to prove jesus exsisted?
I love the da vinci code theory of the holy grail being a blood line, im pretty sure jesus like any typical bloke had urges and feelings so why is it so bad to think he may have had a sexual relationship?

I agree with you. Jesus (Yeshua) and Mary (Miriam) were very common names in first century Jerusalem, so the report that this was the ossuary of "THE" Biblical Jesus is speculative at best. Second, there's still a lot of science that needs to be done regarding the dating of the stylized inscriptions, verifying the carbon dating of the ossuary, and so forth. Also, the archaologist who made the initial report did not think it was the ossuary of the Biblical Jesus. In short, it's just another knee-jerk hit piece from people who love to try to diminish Christ and Christianity.

with out dna how can they prove that it is his, and be bold enough to state it in a documentary... and wouldn't all dna traces be long gone by now.. and wouldn't they not be able to compare it to anything now because obviously jesus is no longer living

if god is real he is probably up there laughing alot at our mistakes...
