The use of the N word is a double standard. Unless you're black you can't say it. Which in my mind really makes no sense regardless of how you mean it.

Its not the word itself thats racist, the racism is in how you say it.

Over here in the states it is generally accepted, not the er ending, but ending
with A is, and i couldnt agree more, it truly is a despicable word and its applied
meaning ER ending. It is a very sensitive issue here right now.

That is most def. my experience, now whether most accept this i couldnt say,
but this has been verified and spoken in depth by many black people ive known
and met...

I wouldnt use that word. Some people dont find it offensive and some find it deeply offensive. I guess amongst freinds when you know there is no hatred behind the use of the word and it is used as a term of endearment (which is is now for some reason) then its up to them. I certainly wouldnt go walking down the street saying "whats up nigga?" im a white woman of 37 years old, i dont think i could pull it off as friendly somehow.
