Lie Detector Testing

When I was off Friday I watched some of the judges shows that are on in the afternoon.
One of the questions was "Would you take a lie detector test if your significant other thought you were cheating?"
So just curious how TFS felt about it.


I would not take it as I can't ever see myself cheating, and if my partner couldn't trust me, there's not much relationship there so I would leave instead.

trust is the foundation of a relationship,if i haven't given the person any reason not to trust me and they want to give me a lie detector test then that means theres a lack of trust and i dont go for all that...juss my .02

If it meant that much to them, I suppose I would. But it probably would cause more problems than give help, because as you say, I'd never cheat, and if he couldn't/didn't trust me, then that in itself would be a problem for me.

Having said that; lie detector tests have been known to be inaccurate; so could register a lie, when indeed one might be telling the truth.

If you distrust your partner so much that you would subject them to a polygraph, is there really even a relationship worth saving there?

I'd take it to prove them wrong and then f*** them off.

You know what I always find funny about them shows, how many of them who, after getting their results say the results are wrong.

I know The one judge show I was watching, the guy had confessed to cheating while they were together, she kept the recorded phone call. And he still had the balls to say that the test was wrong

If they don't trust you before the test, they won't trust you after the test, even if you passed it.
