principle that your heart and breathing changes when you lie because you are
"taking a chance" at lying...
however, if you are a chronic liar, or you have the ability or are coached into
the lie, the detector can be defeated.. so it's not really useful..
also, nervous people may give a lot of false positives while people who are
dead calm may give a lot of false negatives..
it's a pointless exercise..
that almost exactlyw at i was going 2 say...LMAO and they do use them somtimes its just a part of the case, u cant just rely on i thing...and so its a part. havent u seen them use them in missing people cases and liek they wanted 2 test scott peterson but he wouldnt do it and that made more people think he was guitly....so if ur innocent and they want u 2 do it do it...LMAO
