ya, he was 17 and was nice and all than he got creepy and than after a while i found out he had a kid and 3 other chicks, and when i found out he made every1 belive i was a cyber b**** so ya ended up all fuked up

I met my boyfriend online when I was 14, and I'm 17 now and we're still together. 3 years and we recently met in real life for the first time and it was fantastic. It depends on the people, you and her included, it can be quite hard not to be close together, I deal with it well but my boyfriend has a hard time, not bad enough to break it off.

I think if you both work hard on it, and you both feel the same, then you have a good chance, but don't just throw your trust out there randomly, it could be bad.

My sister met a guy online! They corresponded for 7 years! She never met him before going to Australia to be with him!They are together now and going to get married in a couple months!
As for me, I have met a man from the UK who I love very much! He is coming to the US for Christmas! I am looking forward to finally meeting him!! I feel like we have known each other forever although it has only been about 3 months! My sister has really supported me in this and she told me to GO FOR IT!!
If all works out well on this visit, I will move to the UK sometime this next year! If it goes REALLY well, I may not waste any time either!

i'd have to say it is possible. i'm currently in a relationship i guess you'd call it, with a great [at least i think so] guy. the people whom i have told are opposed to it because of the fact of how we met [over the net] & the age diff. But. i met him the first time a few nites ago & he was awesome.. sweet as could be, and it's hard not to say i have fallen in love with him. time will tell, but i would say, yes, it's possible. i've had a couple previous web-relatinships that didn't last, but 'real life' relationships don't last sometimes, too, so i think it has a whole lot more to do with the individuals and how they treat eachother & that you get to know eachother & you're friends as well. Yes, it lasted for a couple of months, it ended pretty sadly, but she was someone unlike anyone I've ever met. I still care for her as a friend.

I did. It ended... idk, it wasn't badly but it wasn't very good either. But he's still my best friend.
