A friend of mine made a clever point about evolution, I thought I would share it with you.

Evolution is something evolving from something else, right?
So C evolved from B, and B evolved form A, so on and so forth.
Eventually, you get all the way back to nothing. Can something evolve from nothing?
This implies a creator who would have to be outside the confines of space and time because if the creator were finite(within space and time), where did the creator come from(eventually you would get back to nothing again)?

I've always wondered the same thing.
Where did God come from?
I'm a Christian, but sometimes I ask questions too.

I sometimes have questions too; nothing wrong with that.

I think even if we were told the answer, it would be beyond our limited understanding as humans.

yes but according to almost all religions God is infinite, existed before the universe begna and after it is finished. It is outside the physical bounds of the universe.

I don't think we're ever meant to know the answer. After all how boring would life become if someone discovered the truth about evolution? we'd never be able to debate about it on public forums ever again, it's good not knowing the truth anyway it's gives us all something to consider and think about, which can ultimately help us grow as individuals if we retain an open mind that is.

Because God isnt bound within the natural laws of the universe.
This does raise further issues such as if God can break the rules, they are not truely absolute so others could also break them.

Im with Douglas Adams on this, we are probably never supposed to work it out because if we do chances are our universe will be replaced with another universe, or it could all be a massive coincidence or accident.

Thats not really to do with evolution but existence in itself.

Now I really wanna read Hitchikers Guide to the Galaxy again.

That is what I am saying. It implies an infinite creator outside the confines of space and time.

God could break them in the sense that He has the power to. But God is good and never goes back on His Word(He created things by His Word). He will not break them. If He were not perfect then things would all fall apart.
