Sounds like something I would rather experience first hand...

(what are we talking about?)

i can't remember when ruffles came out, i like them for a little, they were ok. i just recently starting to eat " waves ". there are ok, i perfer pringles and chex mix, in general. by looking at ruffles and waves, ruffles look better than waves. but that about it. both ruffles and waves are greasy on your hands, but pringles and chex mix doesn't leave any greasy on your hands. twilite, the op has if there is a difference ruffles and waves, what is your answer? not much difference!

Ruffles are better in every way, I was just wondering if there really is a market for both being made by the same company.

Lays are the number one selling crisp in Europe. Seeing as USA is made up of lots of people of european origin there is probably a good market for them, even if they are the exact same product. People buy what they know.

I think ruffles are lighter in texture. More flakey. Either way, if I were to go shopping and wanted some wavy chips, I'd pick the closest bag near me than find a specific kind.

That's how different they are to me.

Wavy Lays have wider crinkles.

I forgot to cite my source the first time.

"Lays also produces Wavy Lays, a chip with wider crinkles, with a wavy profile similar to corrugated steel roofing."
