I think ruffles are lighter in texture. More flakey. Either way, if I were to go shopping and wanted some wavy chips, I'd pick the closest bag near me than find a specific kind.

That's how different they are to me.

Exactarooney. But I would still avoid wavy lays if I could. And no I don't mean doing it on a waterbed.

Ruffles are a little thinner I think and crispier. Much better for dip.
