Can cold weather make you ill?

Yesteday i had the beginings of a cold, nothing that bothered me much, just felt a little bunged up. But then i had to at about 5 in the afternoon, walk somewhere. The Journey took me half an hour, and it was bloody freezing, coldest i've ever seen the place without snow. When i finally got home, my small beginings of a cold had turned into a full on cold, with a sore throat and constant sneezing.

Was that becouse of being out in the freezing cold?

I think it can happen. I have been feeling off for most of this week. Today i feel as rough as dry toast. Its the bloody cold.

It could be.

Extreme temperatures stress the body and when the body is stressed, immunity drops. When the immunity drops, the illnesses get you.

I was only wearing a t-shirt too (it was so hot last week, then suddenly got freezing, so i haven't got round to buying winter clothing yet)

LOL I always have a jumper somewhere in the summer never trust the damn weather here !!!!It always changes!!!

I don't like jumpers, i think they look stupid. I need some sort of really thick jacket.

I actualy found a Ben Sherman parka in Macy's, but it cost $250. I didnt have that much, it's about ?150. Too much for a jacket.
