Birth Parent

Hey guys what's up?

Just a random question (and I have no idea if this is the right forum, there are way too many)

I am trying to find my biological father, I know he is in Texas, and I know his full name. But I simply don't have a source of information of where he is.

So does anyone know of websites that are able to find him? Preferably free, but oh well if there isn't one.

I don't know of any websites sorry mykronos but I know that in Australia you can go to the Electoral Commission to find someone if you fib and tell them that you work for lawyers or something they will let you use their database for free. I'm not too sure whether that's much help considering you are in the States, but I hope it is of some assistance.

i am not sure if there is an easier way find someone or not....but if I come across anything, I'll let you know.

I know of the computer that gives information about immigrints from ellis island. Maby thers some computer/website that you can get information from. If the name is not too common you could always get the phonebooks from texas and call to see, might take too long. you could come up with a sheet that you can read off for every call, I have used that before and it makes each call a lot eayser then just comming up with the question(s) during the phone call. Have you tried the Salvation Army? They helped someone I know here find their birth mother.

The Sally Ann have a team set up specialy for tracing lost parents. When they trace the parent they will approach them and ask for their permission to let you contact them. They are very sensitive and caring.

I have never known my father. If he is still alive I may find him and if I do, I will punch him.

Thanks guys I'll look at that stuff. I'm not really in a hurry to find my biological father, it's not something that is just bothering me all that much. But it is always nice just to know where you come from ya know?

i dont know of any web sites off hand but have you tried going to a search engine & doing a search? Maybe try google.com or something. Good luck!
