Are you a Pagan ?

Paganism encompasses a diverse community with some groups concentrating on specific traditions, practices or elements such as ecology, witchcraft, Celtic traditions or certain gods.

Wiccans, Druids, Shamans, Sacred Ecologists, Odinists and Heathens all make up parts of the Pagan community


Ive been interested in this for many years and wondered if anyone else is?

I do like reading about pagan religions/mythologies... much more interesting than the judeo-christianity religion/mythology, but im an atheist.

Yeah, I'm a pagan. Some of my friends are too.

I have an interest in pagan mythology and practices, but as with Abrahamic religions i couldn't say i believe in them in them literally.

Have you always been a pagan ? or is it just something you have got interested in.My Mum was and still is heavily christian so I had to do the whole Sunday school stuff etc as a kid but I gave that up in my teens. Ive read up on various religions etc but have always had an interest in paganism and wicca.

I'm a heathen.

I have never been Christian, since I was born in an atheist family, so I was atheist at first. But , 4-5 years ago, I heard about Wicca and got interested. I'm not exactly wicca now, though.

Oh yeah i know that feeling. They kinda don't want you at church any more when you ask difficult questions week in, week out seems they didn't want to do the work to save my blasphemous soul

yeah me too, then i think i said something stupid like, well where is heaven? Cuz in the bible its supposedly in the sky, only i'm pretty sure spaceflight ruled that out.

Pagan folklore is beautiful, i love the native religions of most places though, so much simpler than todays religions.

I'm not a strong believer in Paganism but I agreee that it's so much more beautiful than perhaps some of the Abrahamic religions. There's something about the whole natural aspect of loving nature that just sounds so heart warming.

Im not, im athiest but i can completely understand the whole putting things back from the earth thing and not leaving a bad legacy in our lifetime. Its a lovely philosiphy.

I personally find the whole magic and witchcraft thing rather ridiculous.

I love the way everyone has this romantic ideal of paganism.
