PCMCIA card not being recognized...

So right now I'm on the office family computer. I wish I were on my laptop, but I'm not. The reason why is my wireless interent adapter is connected through USB. I have USB through this PCMCIA card.
For some unexplicable reason, a few days ago my computer stopped reconizing the card. I've uninstalled it, reinstalled it, jammed it in there, but it in a different slot, dropped it out of a window (just kidding on that last one )
Any ideas of how I can fix this? I also can't transfer files off of it now with my flash drive... arg!

can you be more specific?
did you try see if your card gets detected on linux (use a live cd)?
is your card listed in the device manager's list (if you're on windows)?
has humidity affected your card?

please, add more details about your problem.

Sounds like the card is probably bad.
