When Finnish software developer Jerry Jalava lost his ring finger in a motorcycle accident (bike versus Bambi), his doctor replaced it with a thumb ? a USB thumb drive, that is.

Concealed under the prosthetic fingernail is a 2GB USB drive, ready to pop into any computer. And no, the USB finger isn't permanently attached to his hand. Kinda disturbing if you happen to share a computer with him.

Always the developer, Javala is looking to upgrade his finger with wireless technology, RFID tag, and more storage. Just think ? a Bluetooth finger. What other body parts can double as storage devices?

its.... creative. A little wird to tink about. I'd probably be amused by it, if I saw him take his finger off and plug it into a computer, but it's weird to think about

That is kind of wierd... I'd probably freak if I saw someone bend his fake finger back to stick the USB drive in the computer!!!

I hate to think what'd they'd replace the detachable...oh nvm I'm not going to go there.
