Never even heard of it.

IMO, you want something, you work for it. Not just think of it to get it.

Me either. I think if you want something you have to actually work towards it- not just will it your way.

This sounds a lot like the book/dvd "The Secret" which explains that believing and wanting something enough sends out this ora that helps you achieve anything you want. Personally I don't see how sitting on my couch wanting and needing a hundred bucks is going to just drop a check in my lap. You have to actually make things happen, can't always expect the good and rich to come to you.

I believe that life is limited and linear, therefor dreaming for things is pointless because a lot of that stuff doesn't really exist anyway and motivation and effort don't get you very far either.

You just need to stop and consider what you need to get by for now and then it's a numbers game from there - testing every door in the labyrinth with a reasonable (but not excessive) shove until one swings open granting just what is necessary - no more or less.

Absolutely not and few things annoying me more than such blatant anthropocentricism and wishful thinking.

No its a blatant cockamamie lie. But staying positive is good, if you believe you wont achieve anything then you probably wont.
