Long Distance

I swear I'm about to break my phone. Every day we get s*** loads of calls from long distance places. And they're all mostly just charity calls and s*** like that. It's so annoying, we get more calls from them then people we actually know. This morning alone I got 4 feckin calls. Grrr I wish they'd piss off!

Can't you just tell them to take them off your list then get your number unlisted. Should help in some time. Also if the same one you told to take you off the list calls you back again they get in trouble.

get the numbers blocked?

Privacy manager(?), I *think* that's what it's called, blocks 99.9% of those types of calls for us. They have to go through too much crap to actually get through to our line--the majority of them hang up before they get there. 'Tis wonderful & blessed silence . . . for the most part.

Anytime I get a new phone number the first thing I do is register it with the "No Call List". I very infrequently get calls from people I don't know. I'm not sure if Canada has anything like that though.

even if their sales calls and i get the the wrong number all the time on my cell phone and its annoying!

fifi, I forgot about that name.. haha..

I hate those types of calls also, I usually pick up the phone and hang up on them.. or ask what they want then click.
