would you "fight for your man?"

a lady at work was telling me about a situation.. i like her "scrappy" attitude, but was surprised to learn this.

During her husband's retirement ceremony, in front of all of the guests he raised his glass to give a toast. "Sweetheart, after 23 years of marriage, i get a chance to finally say, i hate you, never could stand you. I've been with another woman for the last year, and i'm leaving you for her."

Everyone was pretty stunned to say the least. She apparently, fought the other woman tooth and nail to get him back. He finally made a decision to come home. Why? because the "other woman" found someone else.

She said they've been together since then 10 years later, but it's never been the same. i'm sorry ladies, but i couldn't take him back.. just couldn't..

No way in hell, would I fight for someones affections. They chose to be with someone else, especially after 20+yrs of marriage, they can take a long walk off a short pier.
