can a woman/man be "manipulated" into being gay?

I happen to agree with BuffaloBill on this one. Lucky Charms was not merely giving personal opinions, but sounding rather matter of fact.
Sexuality is personal and not all people fit a mold, so as to the OP, your friend may or may not have been manipulated in turning gay. If she says she is now gay, and was not before, who are we to doubt her.

I suppose if you count abuse as manipulation then yes.

But I don't think someone can be easily manipulated to change there sexuality like in your story.

However many do change there sexuality as a result of abuse that causes them to "hate" or at least not trust a specific gender.

Is everyone bisexual?

I'd have to say no though, not that I have ever tried it but I doubt it is possible. I would not have had the b**ls to ask my wife to try it with one of her friends!

One is either gay or they are not. Some people can be confused or even in denial. No one can make you gay or straight.

I think, especially so for women, certain circumstances can have you involved in a same sex relationship but it's not being gay, it's the circumstances.

Take prison, women can form a same sex relationship for the love, nurturing, companionship etc. For men, it's usually forced on them out of fear or selling themselves for items they need.

Sometimes people can have past abusive situations and be going through things so they for a time are in a same sex relationship but are not gay, it's temporary. Think of Anne Heche. She was not gay for Ellen filled so,w void for her.

I have met a few women that almost manipulated me into being gay!

No one can be manipulated unless they choose to be gay just for some cheap notoriety.
There was a silly contest back in high school called "gay 4 a day".

No chaski or shino I did not want him but tempting to pick a fight.
Long story short I avoided situations pertaining to these shenanigans.
Of course (livelonger is going to get me for saying this)Obama's the blame for these pockets of gay outbreaks around the country.

He is not 1/2 as powerful nor 1/2 as influential as you think.

The reality is that he is a republican in disguise....if I were a democrat I would be pissed off.
