little red X ??

Hiya all!!

Can anyone tell me why sometimes I get a "little red X" where a graphic is supposed to be on web pages!!

Usually that means that the image is no longer onthe internet. Like, say I give you a link for a picture on my website, but then I delete the picture from my server. You won't see the picture.

Can also be related to your browser settings. In IE, under Tools, Internet Options, Advanced Tab> three quarters down there is an option there to 'Show Pictures' If this has NO tick, it can give the same result as you have described.

also depends on ur security level... sometimes if u set ur level to too high, meanig so muhc protective, u cant view any images... or prob ur browser cant read or find the image destination...or the image is gone..

Why don't they change it to something less boring cos it is gets on my nerves when a whole page comes up with them. It is so annoying!
