i know i said wouldnt be on today but this has ripped me up inside...
BUSH is the worse person EVER!!! im sorry but the british are gonna do this alone!
the UK hosts the G8 summit this july with one of the main proposals to end Africa's debt and increase moneytary aid to $80 billion by 2010.
mr bush has said this doesnt fit in with US budget processes!!!
WTF???
he'd rather be in the history books for getting men on mars then say ending Africa's debt???
he needs to be stopped!!!
Any people who are in the UK on july 6th please get to edinburgh and march to end Africa's poverty!
YOU KNOW ITS RIGHT!
mr bush doesnt!
im gonna throw darts at his picture now!!!

Hang on...

The UK plan to clear all of Africas debts to them. What does this have to do with Mr Bush and the United States of America? Do we have to ask permission to do this?

And how does what WE do with OUR money affect the US budget?

well...the idea is to use the reserve gold of the international monetary fund to fund massive debt relief and to hopefully increase the GLOBAL aid relief to africa!
the idea is to have a global change rather than one country tackle its own battles!
what angers me the most is that the US government is not backing these plans!
it annoys me how the americans dont give a rat and arse bout africa!
they want to go everything alone!
they wont let the British come up with the ideas!
if the americans were to propose lower CO2 levels or increase aid to africa they'd expect an applause and gratitude!
BUT they're not!
i know charity begins at home but in my opinion the US government is just harpering aid efforts across the globe!
i dont want argue about details...i want argue about principles and the US governments are in the wrong place...

The editorial in today's NYTs and the op-ed piece by William Easterly are perhaps two of the best articles to appear in the NYT on Africa. George Bush's theatrical and very reluctant move towards try ing to be part of the world society in working with and for Africa is deplorable. Part of the reason is that there isn't too large a domestic constituency in America for more concrete and practical ways to work with Africa, and all Bush is trying to do is save face in the eyes of British PRime Minister Tony Blair. Maybe the NYT with the editorial and op-ed piece will push for more African voices in its pages (rather than just stories about Africans

... because hes the most powerful man in the world and these countries need all debt cleared so they can stop relying on aid for the rest of there lives his clerance of debt on the most porest countries in the world would mean a possible opertunity to start over again and stop the disgusting amount of losses in life due to starvation. the fact that america lent money to these countries and asked tehm to pay it back is just disgusting he needs to clear it now giving africans aid then giving them a debt to pay dosnt change anything.

somebody dies every three seconds in africa and mr fukface has the power to stop it

well, if you think about it, it is very typical of the capitalist mentality which is basically each to his own. It sucks, but it shouldn't be surprising.

But yeah, just when you think Bush can't make any more bad decisions, he does. I can't believe we have 3 more years of him. How much damage will he have done by then? I'm afraid to know...

it's in the trillions, but i don't know the exact number. There are some online tickers that keep track of that. It's amazing how fast those numbers roll. It goes up so fast!
