Basically the cat needed a LINE cut, this is where the fur on the tummy is shaved because it has become matted. The groomer mis-heard the owner and gave the cat a LION cut.
Of course, the owners could have left the animal with matted fur so that it became sore and made the skin infected, but that would have been cruel.
So in doing the right thing, getting the matted hair shaved off they are now being called cruel owners
Its true matted cat fur is bloody awful, i have a long haired cat and cut knots out of him on a weekly basis, sometimes there so bad he has to be clippered...i do not view my self as an abusive pet owner, i actually think im a responsible pet owner.
