I am extremely worried about the TFS+ site guys, but I am giving it a go.

I feel the direction TFS has gone to date has been brilliant, but now we have a section where we can do all the stuff that potentially make TFS less fun for the more sensitive people that came here because of the warmness TFS bring.

I can debate and banter like the next person.. but there is a safety net of the current TFS that makes it more civilized. TFS+ may become uncontrollable especially from newbies and people that are stupid, and there is a few of them out there.. they may take it out of context and then the rest of the forum will be infected.

Anyway that's my concern. I hope I am wrong.

Mark I have similar concerns but like you I've going to give it a chance for now - although I haven't signed up for TFS+.

My main concern is that the majority of the site may end up being posted in TFS+ sections, leaving me a lot less people to interact with and discuss issues with outside of TFS+.

In fairness, if that's the way it goes, then the majority should enjoy the site - majority wins is the fairest way.

Actually that is a even bigger concern now you raised it. I think with time, the site will end up mostly on TFS+, then TFS will loss its appeal, to people like you. And in all honesty its refreshing to talk to people on here that don't want to take you out with every chance they get.

I had a quick look at a couple of the TFS+ threads. It was just a long list of posts of people telling each other to get f***ed. It hasn't taken a truly vicious turn, not that I saw, but I didn't read more than a few posts.
