Same Sex Marriages

Hello everyone....just wondering what everyone on here thinks about Same Sex Marriages?? I just saw the movie Chuck And Larry and it was the funniest thing ever....so being from Canada, I feel that Same Sex Marriages are a-okay! Somebody's sexual preference is of no concern to myself unless it affects their job or something....

what are your thoughts?

I believe if two people are in love they should be allowed to get married regardless of their sex, age, race, or anything like that.

Yep,love should be respected even for the same sex.They aren't hurting anyone in any way.There are many reasons why I am for these marriages.I'm not against gays,you know why..because there will be many girls left for us ..

Although I am a bisexual woman and been to three same sex marriages I don?t think it?s right, I have always recognised that marriage should be between man and woman, but I am not protesting against same sex marriages, good luck to them., I may wish them luck, but I don?t take them seriously.

i dont see a problem in two people who love each other making a public commitment to each other regardless of same sex or opposite sex. love is what makes the world go round.

My thoughts are...that its no different from a normal relationship.If two people feel they love each other then go for it. My bestfriend is gay and i wouldn't have him any other way because he's happy and im happy if he's happy.My opinion...im sticking to it.

personally ive nothing against same sex couples but dont think they shud marry in a church as in the bible marriage is the bas to start a family of which same sex couples cant do

i agree with some very good points u made just do not think there is much need 4 the slating of gay people. i have nuthing against gay people just believe that marriage has allways been and should allway be between a man and a woman

I don't see a problem with same-sex marriages. Every person should be allowed the same rights.

i do not agree a marriage is performed in church before god an nowhere in the bible does this talk about same sex marriages. if same sex couples want to show there commitment there are other ceromial ways to do this without havin to do so in a church. after all didnt we all start out from adam an eve..... not adam and steve.

just the reactions I was expecting....some are against it...some are for it...that's like with everything right....

someone brought up RELIGION as the downfall of gay marriages....other people bring up the "it's just not right attitude"...however, my question to everyone is....what about the children???

some people think gay marriages are okay...UNTIL children get involved....obviously gay couples will need to adopt...however, it is already happening where children go to school and they either have 2 mommy's or 2 daddy's.....regardless of race, age, or gender...how does everyone feel about having two mommy's or two daddy's?
