Long distance

My boyfriend is about to move to Texas due to a job offer. After I finish my degree (about 2 yrs. from now)I will join him. In the mean time we will have to make due with emails,phone calls, and the visits as often as possible. I would like to give him something so that he knows that despite being unable to see each other all the tim etc. that I love him and that I can't wait to join him. I don't know to give him to show him how committed I am? Any ideas?

a necklace, with a pendant with your name inscribed.

or same thing in a bracelet.

a really nice pic of you in a frame.

or both of you together framed.

his favorite kind of key chain, a really nice one, and again, have your name inscribed, dated also if you like.

Nude photos of yourself should tide him over well enough.

you should have stores that are called Engravables, we have them here in Canada............tons of stuff to buy and they do the engraving.

What about a scrapbook? Put some pictures and fun little messages and stuff like that so you can send it to him and he'll feel like you're with him all the time.

I'm not capable of msaking a scapbook...there are no pictures of us. Also I physically can't make a scrapbook because of lack of use of my hands. Thanks for the ideas keep em coming please!

like Joan said, get him a necklace with your pic in it OR both you & him in it with your name or initials on it, Im sure he'll cherrish every moment of it knowing you love him deeply and soon you two will be together

if you feel like you want to be with him constantly, then yes you should definitely pursue him! Just do random things. Of course talk lots and about everything but do random things for him. Its up to you what you do, but the goal is to make him smile and feel great

what my gf and myself do might not work for you, but we send random little messages to each other, and the odd picture of ourselves. To brighten up each others day and make each other realise we really care for each other and love each other.

I wish I could help, but I don't know your man and what would really make him beam! If you love him, I bet you know exactly what would work for him, and he won't be expecting it and it will all turn out great

How about matching Friendship Rings! Just any style that suits you both and you can get them engraved too!! That way he has something visible that will remind him of you every time he looks at his hands!! It will also be a visible sign to others to show them you two are committed!!!

We struggled through uni, and now I'm in my final year and we've nearly made it. And, when we're apart we do a really silly thing, some nights, before we say goodnight we decide on a place to meet and we imagine ourselves there in each other's arms. Aside from that we have had photos, and letters and teddy bears... You could have a nice photo of you taken and frame it so both of you have a copy and can remember a really good day together.
