I'm drinking a mug of it now. Never tried it before; at first I thought, "this smells like f***ing fags, it's gonna be manky", but it's actually really nice.

Doesn't it have health benefits or something? What's the difference between green tea and the common variety?

Had the same issues with green tea, smelt horrible but tasted nice

It has heaps of antioxidants and can be a preventative treatment for all sorts of diseases. In large amounts can help aid weight loss and can reduce the risk of esophageal cancer.

Apparently, a test was done in China it reduced it by 60%. There is some compound in the tea that inhibits the growth of cancerous cells.

Most of the benefits though can only be obtained if you drink large amounts. Much of Asia has a different diet so it works better, the food we eat over here can affect the teas benefits.

It has a lot of anti-oxidants in it.

I drink green tea (cold) all the time.

Green tea smelling bad?

What kind of green tea are you drinking?

I never came across a bad smelling green tea...bland ones...but never funny smelling.
