My ex when he proposed to me, said he loved that I loved all the simple things in life.
I never really thought about it
I guess I kinda do.
When we were together, I always just liked being able to just BE with him.
I didnt have to get things from him, I didnt have to go out or anything.

seeing one of my amily smile

my kids when they scream with laughter of just come over and give me a kiss without any reason.
that to me is the best simple things in life

I love watching calves being born at this time of year..I love to watch children at play. I love to be able to sit back and enjoy my coffee and watch the sunrise each day...I do love the simple things in life.....there are just too many to list lol.

I never mentioned mine.
My son's weekly visits that say I miss you.
Hearing my husband snoring in his chair, I never want to miss that sound.
The flowers starting to poke back to life in spring.
Long bubble baths.
Watching the birds from my back deck.
Days when I feel good and rested.
A bagel and tea on the back deck with a good book and my recliner.
Sun. afternoon naps that just happen.
Walking on the beach at daybreak or dusk
Staying in my jammies all day doing whatever I feel like.
Petting my little cat as she purrs on my lap.
A kiss goodnight.
Fresh sheets and my comfortable bed and knowing someone loves me enough to take care of me when I'm sick.
A big hug from my son.
My niece telling me I'm her funnerist aunt.
Books, books and more books- reading!
Family dinners.
A card for no reason that says- I love you!!!!

I love going for long walks anywhere my feet take me and just take the time to look at everything.

The trees, how they've weathered many storms and are still standing strong and how different and beautiful each and everyone of them is.

The birds, hard at work and knowing exactly what to do and when.

Creatures, doing what they love to do without letting anything bother them and watching them feed their young or build a nest.

Dogs and or Cats playing with each other for hours.

Sitting in a park and just watching people walk by or families playing in the park.

Laying on the grass and watching the clouds move and form pictures from them.

Watching the night greet the day.

Too many things to mention. The stars, moon, water etc.....

Watching tots and kids play.
The smell of woodsmoke on a cold day.
The tug at the end of a fishing line.
Watching farmers work their land.
Waking up in the morning and know your body still works.
