Curiosity question

First let me get one thing straight,I believe a man who hit's a woman is a whimp,but that's just me and the way I grew up in.

But when I go on a tour of other sites,I've seen many different video's of women standing up and having verbal brawls with with men,then because they are losing it decide to come the Biff with the Bloke,now I understand we live in a different era with a different set of values and way of life,BUT, "do you think it only fair that if a woman is big enough to start throwing punches in an argument she should be big enough the cop what she get's back???".

So many times now I've seen it happen and when punched back they lay on the ground screaming "He hit me" when in my opinion they deserved what they got.

I think domestic violence, regardless of who is the perpetrator, is wrong.

People don't generally discuss female on male abuse, but it exists. It is just as wrong as male on female abuse.

right so let me get this right you're talking insults not actual punches seeing as how you are talking online site s***e? If its just verbal then yeah, if you give it then you should be ready to take it as well, however if you are talking physical confrontation then no, but the man should have the right to defend himself from some skanky cow scruffy enough to hit.

I do not normally watch Dr Phil but the other day I did and it was about a woman beating a man. I have seen his show years ago and when it was a man beating a woman, he told her to leave him. But last week when it was a woman beating a man, he basically told the man to let her get help before he left her.

I think a marriage without domestic violence on occasion is a joke. A man hits a woman, the woman should hit back and vice versa. Men and women not in a marriage should still abide by that, an eye for an eye.

That's really rather sad.

Yes the second part it seems like as in child abuse years ago is something that got swept under the carpet,but it's something that out there now and in our faces and should in all cases be addressed as such.

Like duh! thats why i asked if i was reading your post right. Language barriers and all that. As in, you used the term sites... and your last sentence states showing an example from a site but you could not due to porn. I don't think it's sad, I think it's balance. Me and my husband occasionally have physical fights, and it works for us. We are in a strong relationship and love each other very much. I've never fought with him while pregnant though, obvious reasons.

All the pinned up emotions are not good, you have to let them out some how and verbally is more damaging than physically.

If you mean 'play fighting', I agree. But for there to be actual hitting, even on the 'rare' occasion, very wrong, no excuse for it.

No, I'm talking about balance. One should not hit a woman if she's weak and can't fight back, but if you have a female that can fight back, it CAN be healthy to fight it out. I don't condone abuse, I condone balance.

My take on this is that a man should be able to use what force is necessary to defend himself.

But in all, people just shouldn't hit. We learn this at 2 years old, or we should, and it should be just as applicable to grown-ups. People get too damned angry, and then can't seem to control themselves. They need to find a way to deal with it.

I gotta ask though. If you're getting this from a porn site, are you sure this is about domestic violence rather than s & m type stuff?
