Vietnamese Boat People . 800,000 made it to other countries with between 200,000 and 400,000 perishing at sea. The end of US involvement freed up the NVA and VietCong to assist Pol Pot of
Cambodia , another beloved mass murdering Marxist. He killed approximately 1 million people. It is considered part of the
Indonesia Refugee Crisis that consisted of about 3 million people seeking refuge from Communist regimes in Laos, Cambodia, Indonesia and Vietnam.
