You can still hug them, grandkids too.

I let the spouses do the hugging on them big ole kids , I take the cute little grand babies instead , they are much more fun then my kids were at that age.

It probably has something to do with the change in responsibility roles .
I swear, if I had known grand kids were this much fun . I would have just skipped the kids part and went straight for the grand kids part .

Ya know, my mom says the exact same thing.

I won't over mundane stuff like politics or the fate of mankind , but damn straight , about prooving my grand babies are cuter . .

That would be funny as hell.

I get some hilarious looks from grandma ladies when i say out of the blue, that my grand babies are cuter then theirs. the funnest part is when one will try to be ladylike and look down her nose , until it hits her what I just said then the " I beg your pardons " start and lead right into an enjoyable chat about grand babies.

Wow. I'm surprised that some version of the fighting scenario hasn't played out already.

One of these days you're going to say that to the wrong grandma, and then things are going to get ugly.

There would have to be either alcohol or mental instability involved for a grandma aged lady to go fist ta cuffs over a comment on such an enjoyable topic to a grand ma . since I sobered up more then a decade ago , i wouldn't be saying it as a drunk or to a drunk . and i don't tease mentally challenged people of any age about anything . I think it's a safe bet that I'm in for a lot of enjoyable chats about grand babies .

I don't know... there are some feisty grandma's out there.

Besides, I am picturing more a drunken, funny fight, than a "Holy s***! Call the cops before my grandma kills yours!"

Still unlikely, but the picture in my head is amusing me, so I'm going to let it play on for a bit.

My aim is better then my speed at running , so I could just stun a feisty type grandma with a rock or my key ring and get away before she got her wits about her enough to be feisty again ,,,

I agree, Most drunken fights are pretty funny if you aren't one of the drunks fighting .
