Yes, I realise that some 5 year old kids are pretty spoiled an mean acting when they are annoyed . But at 5 years old they don't have any idea how ' permanent' death is.
Then there's the babysitter sleeping though a baby crying so much and so long that a toddler can get him into a bathtub . Anyone that has ever spent any time around small children knows that the 5 year old would be yelling at the baby to shut up the whole time she was dragging him into the bathroom and then into the tub . The baby's cries and the 5 year old yelling would be a whole lot of noise .

The 5 year old does need some counsling to help her understand what has happened , but IMO it's the adults that left the children with a mentally disabled teenager that should be facing any charges that are brought against anyone in this case.

Besides that , because it's your kid we are talking about, of course you think the kid is the cutest kid ever born to woman, that's one of the jobs prerequisites , it also disquailifies you for any grandma chats about grand kids.

I wonder was it that nice lady I met and had that hours long ,picture comparing , grand kid bragging enjoyable chat with ?

If it was her , our grandkids are equally matched in the cute dept.
And since I have more of them then she does it was agreed that I do have more fun with them .
Now go home and rasise that kid to grow up and have lots and lots of cute great grand kids that we can chat about .

Oh my God, the ones responsible for bringing murder charges against a 5 year old child need help. A 5 year old child does NOT have the capacity to formulate cause and effect (if this, then that) yet. The human brain gets that "reasoning" capability right around 7 years old.

I totally agree with you, the parents are responsible for allowing that to happen.

j.l aways think he did it.
i've been told we each have monster in us.
we start justifying small things, we justify larger.
a normal adult doesn't say to the cops i drown the kid to shut em up.
a murder did happen.
murder needs to be looked into.
