You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes....

Slipknot has a song called Eyeless that in the chorus says "You can't see California without Marlon Brando's eyes", and than says "It's all in my head, It's all in the way" the story is that they were walking down the street and some homeless guy was rocking back and forth, staring at them saying that over and over again. Not a big Slipknot guy, and i knew they were f***ed up, but this is just kinda weird. Can anyone tell me what it means?
