"Lorax" statue stolen from California home of Dr. Suess

A 300-pound bronze statue of the Lorax, a character from the Dr. Seuss book and hit movie of the same name, has been stolen from the late author's San Diego estate, police said on Tuesday.

The statue was one of two made by Geisel's stepdaughter. The other was given to a museum.

What is wrong with some people.

It's an obvious throwback to the days of pagan idols, where its possession granted you it's power. And as great as the power of a 300 pound green idol would be to the Church of Our Lady of Environmental Faith, imagine what a 2000 pound phallus would be worth to the Local Coven of What's Happening Now.

I doubt he is a Doctor at all.

That is a trophy in some young punk's basement right now.

Or some punks who put it in the chapel at the Sierra Club.

TPT stole it, because he hated the movie and they wouldn't give him back the price of his seniors matinee ticket.

I was curious so I checked.
He attempted to earn a Doctorate at Oxford but never completed his studies.

I don't really know what the Lorax has to do with some church club in the Sierras or some lady named Faith, but when I find him (Lorax) I'm going to kick is ass.
