Really depends on what it's for, and how experienced you are using them.
If you've not used them before, it's best to start out with very natural proteins, like milk and egg. You can actually get powdered milk and egg protein from most fitness stores. It's less harsh on your system, and won't be such a shock.
After that, you can look to graduate to some of the brand names like myoplex or EAS, these are harsher, more "artificial" proteins, generally heavily augmented with amino acids and vitamins and minerals.
There's a herb that improves the bodies uptake of protein too, but I can't for the life of me remember what it is. I'll check it out and get back to you.
