A Dell laptop with a 19" screen........

Help me out please. I was recently given a 19" dell laptop. Its still being shipped to me, so I can't really say much about it.

What I need, however, is a place to find either specifications and / or and online maual to troubleshoot if something goes wrong.

Can anyone point me in the right direction?

My search so far, has only lead to dead ends, even on the dell site. is the laptop a phantom? the only info I have is that Dell started manufacturing the 19 inch behemoth in 2006. so its not too old, but a pic and spec list would be groovy. the manual is a bonus i guess.

lol I beg you, ease the misery and suffering. Ive looked everywhere, and the laptop seems to be a mystery.

I don't know. My boss isn't really It literate so he wouldn't be able to tell me, which is what makes it so much harder.

I just don't get why, if its a 19 inch, that I can't find info on it. Something like that should be huge, unless of course it was a bad idea when it was made, but then you'd still be able to read about its fall from grace. Its a huge conundrum.

lol I dont have a pic of it at all. and i'm waiting for it to get here from oz, so it remains a mystery. Just thuoght it would be good to be prepared before it gets to me. its a silly PC technician thang of mine, i know. cant help it.

I don't think too many people will be able to help unless they know which model you have. lol

lol then pardon me for a sec while I go pull all my red hair out strand for strand.......... curse me for being a support tech. I hate not knowing whats comming to me. i like being armed with the knowledge that i can fix it if it breaks.

Are you saying you can't find any other 19" laptops on there? Because I know the Dell Inspiron comes in 19", a friend of mine has one

I can't find a single one, and I need to know about it, so that when I get it, i know how to fix it, if something goes wrong, and what to look out for if its hurt in transit to me. lol plus I'm curious as heck.
